Kyle Underwood

Kyle is originally from Indiana, but moved to Minnesota 5 years ago. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Ball State University in 2013 and his Master’s degree in Health Physics from Purdue University in 2014. He has worked at Mayo Clinic for the last 5 years, starting as a Health Physics Associate and then moving up to Health Physicist. His research interests include occupational exposure reduction surrounding radiation therapy and contamination prediction modeling. However, COVID 19 has brought to light many more research opportunities. Kyle spends most of his time, outside of work, with his fiancé and two Great Pyrenees pups.
