ABOUT THE TEAM
The strength of ESSI is demonstrated through productive collaborations. By partnering with experts from the School of Public Health, the Masonic Cancer Center’s Screening, Prevention, Etiology and Cancer Survivorship Program, the Institute for Engineering in Medicine (IEM), and others, professional experience and strengths can be leveraged to tackle complex environmental health science questions and challenges. Graduate student researchers and Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health Science professionals have the exciting opportunity to work alongside these experts while finding solutions to real-world problems.
OUR FACILITIES
Our labs are located on the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota, a top 20 Research I university. They include a full-size exposure chamber suitable for conducting task-simulation studies. Additionally, through our affiliation with centers of excellence such as the Masonic Cancer Research Center, we have access to state of the art lab space and analytical instruments to support our surveillance study research.
